LOL...don't want to discriminate against the blind drivers!

I used to work at a movie theater as a projectionist and we used to always laugh at the signs inside the booth that had braille on them...as if a blind person could ever be a projectionist. Can't you see the people in the theater yelling "FOCUS! FOCUS!!!". Heh, I'm so insensitive sometimes.

no cause it dosnt slow me down when im in a rush. theres no extra buttons to press. but does it really make sense? you ever met a blind driver? and if you drive a blind person up there i would hope you would just use it for them instead of making them get out of the car and waiting for them to feel the machine up trying to find the buttons.

well maybe, just maybe, they have ATMs in other countries where other languages are spoken and they don't want to redesign their entire system for each country specifically. or maybe sometimes people visit other countries and aren't comfortable dealing with their money on something they cannot read. i'm sure if you visited a country like Japan or China and the ATMs were only in their native language, you would be less than pleased. same thing goes for the braille on the machines, it's just another language and there's no need to redesign the machine for it or cut out an entire group of people from using it. 1 button takes a half of a second to press, i think the compromise is worth it.
