I had the same prob, and re-installed the game went to the 1.31 patch and have had no problems since, I think it is a map problem as well, as once I finished the oil refinery map I have not the error again.

both are ddr. i swapped 512mb sticks, same problem.

also, what is the deal with the CD key. i see it but it never asked for it.

go to your rvs exe and right click, go to properties, and under compatability change it too Windows 2000

cd key is only for online play i beleive

I, also seemed to fix my problem... It seems that I was using a 3rd party program to fix my refreshrate woes in my WinXP machine called Refreshforce. I reinstalled my videocard drivers (44.03)for my Geforce 3 Ti 200 and didn't enable my refreshrate lock software. Seems good so far...

i havent messed with refresh rates. and i cant say how thankful i am that you are trying so hard to figure this out domino.

"If that does not work, go to your desktop, Raven Sheild Icon and right click on it. Go to properties and under the SHORTCUT tab, go to the Target: and there should be the exe command. At the end of the commmand, put the following.... -norunaway This should take care of it also

upon further research it seems most people started having problems since 1.31 came put, although very few people have had good results

yeah...make sure you complete or die in the mission. also exit the game to make sure it doesnt give the error again.
