Oil Line HELP!!!

I just pre-assembled my Spool kit (T3, Spool Mani, TIAL 38mm gate) and noticed that the way it's setup, the oil return line is on top. Have a look at the pic. The oil feed line (small one) is on the bottom. Shouldn't this be reversed so that gravity helps pull the oil out of the turbo, back into the pan?Or does the incoming fresh oil push the old oil up and out of the return? Does this seem right? Also, I just have the feed line screwed into the oil feed port, and not using the flange. As long as I seal it with teflon, it should remain leak free, correct? Or need I use the flange?

ur gonna have to clock the housing so that the return line is on the bottom, or else u are gonna be burinin oil left and right. both the compressor housing and exhaust housing has bolts, losen them, but dont take them out, and you will be able to rotate both until the return line is on the bottom. i had to do this as well, very easy to do, takes about 15 minutes. if u have anymore questions, pm me or post in the thread. u dont need to use a flange for the feedline, as long as the feed line screws into the housing with teflon tape. thats exactly how mine is setup. check my sig, i have a similar setup as you.

I've gotta take the turbo apart to have it ceramic coaed, so I'll just put it back together the right way after it's done. Thanks for the info though! And ya, I'm jsut gonan screw my oil feed line right into the turbo, no flange...

how much you payin for the ceramic coat if you dont mind me askin?

$250 for both snails, the manifold, and the downpipe. That's with them plugging all the holes and s*** too.
