oil leak!!!

any way took my msp in for some warrenty work,
clunk, pulling to the right, rear deck vibration, and an oil leak
the service guy called me and said my oil leak was comming from the turbo(not good) my car only has 1400 miles on it, anyway he called mazda and they said they have never heard of this before and not to touch the car until they hear back from them they want to analize my car and see what caused it.. anyone eles hear of this???

No you are not the first with a oil leak in the turbo. They are going to see if you messed with the boost. Have you turned up the boost?

nope my car is stock only 1400 miles had it about 3 weeks the service guy said they probably want to send my car to mazda in japan so they can se what caused it. they are going to find me a brand new car and have it shipped here

I would say...hey...can I have it back when you're done in Japan with it. When it gets back you can say...HEY ITS GOT REAL JDM PARTS FROM JAPAN... and been shipped around the world baby....WHOO!!!!! lol

If I'm not mistaken all proteges come from japan, at least for people on the west cost

<---oil leaking from turbo also. Happens to many speeds. My turbo is on order now. I also had a cracked exhaust, 2 coolant leaks, and I pulled to the left since mile one and I'm at 12,500 now.

I had a leak from my turbo just like that and they replaced it. They are lying if they said they havent heard of it before cause i was the seccond one to have my turbo replaced because of an oil leak at Cary.

well, that makes me the third or fourth at least. They should be pro's by this point at turbo installs.

You are getting fed a load of bulls***...Callaway Cars Inc. installs the turbo systems...Mazda of Japan builds basically an MP3 had them shipped to Connecticut for the turbo installation...They would never ship the whole car all the way to Japan for a problem that occurs with a couple of every production turbocharged car...

Your dealership is just beating around, they don't know what to tell you...and you will probably just get a new car if anything checks out...It is the dealership that doesn't understand what is happening, and in a worst case scenario the faulty parts themselves would get shipped out...IF you do get a new car, they will probably ship the car somewhere else for repair and it will end up in the hands of a corporate employee...
