Oil In Intercooler-piping!!!

oil in there huh? Just make sure you change it every 3000 miles, unless you use that Amway AMSOIL stuff, then you can go 10-15K between oil changes.

just kidding.... - I'm looking forward to seeing how the dealership spins this.

yea its still there, they ttok apart the turbo and said it was a deal of some sort in the turbo and im payin for a new one..dont got a price yet..ill get back to ya....

s*** that sucks man, should have taken off the mods!

new turbo aint going to be cheap especially this one from the dealer.

good luck.

ehh it would take me forever to put the stock stuff back on..( half the sh!t i dont even got).... and i got no catalytic converters...so they would blame it on that too..and its just to much s*** to deal with..soo im almost ready to say ****-it and but an aftermarket turbo ant tail wastegate....

let me say that again cuz i cant type for some odd reason...

They took apart the turbo and found that a seal was leaking.. i asked if the seal could be replaced..or could be rebuilt..the service manager said....WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF BALL_BARING TURBOS.....they cannot be rebuilt..so im waiting on a price for a new one or jsut get an aftermarket on if the price is up there high enough....

yes you should get a bigger turbo since your's is done with, im sure the dealership will want to charge an arm and a leg for the replacement

If you still want a ball bearing turbo, get the IHI that comes in Hiboost Kit...

The only problem you will have is exhaust fitting, you will need to make a new exhaust downpipe....and maybe a new manifold to fit the turbine.

I think a T-28 would fit in place of the T-25. Just a suggestion. Yeah, this sounded like an oil-seal problem from the get go. On another note, if that much oil was getting into the intake tubing, an oil-catch can is not gonna be your solution. I've spoken to Corky about this because I had very small traces of oil in my intake piping before the turbo. He said that a little blowby is normal, and you will have a little film buildup. If you have drops, then something is wrong.

i am soooooooooo pissed!!!!! the dealership said that the stock t25 was blown... so i said ok... how much for a new one?? and they said 2,700 installed...i said holly s***...so i went to one of my local shop where i get the hook up at and my boy mario said f*ck the stock t25..here's what ill give u..t28 bb turbo, custom downpipe, and tail wastegate with custom headers for 2,300 dollars. so i said ok.....i just gave him the money today around noon and the turbo should be in by friday. heres what im really pissed about.... i now know for a fact that the turbo IS NOT BLOWN!!!!!!!! i was sitting in my room today just thinkin..and i decided to go outside and pull off that hose that goes from the top of the valve cover to the intake piping....so i did....i pluged up the hole in the intake and just left the tube dangling down by the tranny.. i stared it up and guess what.......NO SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!! none...none what so ever.... i drove about 50 mile between 3 and 10pm...driving it really hard..and no smoke...never...and when i looked under the hood..there was oil all over the trannya nd dripping..from the tube...so im thinkin to much oil again...i checked the dipstick and its just under half full...oil is pouring out of it when i rev it up...still no smoke..im bringing it back to the dealership tomorrow and b!tching at them as to why they were gonna make me pay for a new turbo....im just gonna put the t28 ing and all the other stuff ......by teh way any one want to buy a t25 turbo that works perfectly fine????

just sell it on ebay :)

so you're getting a t28? sweet, you might want to get your oil problem fixed first though :)
