ok i have done a search on this and not much was really said. i noticed my car acting weird and i noticed oil in the ic piping as i was taking this off the car to figure something out..any ideas?

was it a lot?

Oil Blow by from the PCV or the valve cover outlet is not going to cause too much oil buildup.

are you burning oil?

Hey look what I found. Hey, my friend Jim (yellow MSP) has the same problem, it started coming out of the injen and then his muffler. The local dealership threw a turbo at it and it still has problems. I has been a week since I talked to him but I will keep you updated.

You have any mods on your car?

ok i just found my buddies number(he works at agp turbo) he thinks that since i just put a fmic on that i have leak and the turbo is spining way to much to try to keep boost and causing the problem..so,im gonna try to fix that issue and see what happens..ill keep ya posted and if you have any more ideas ill be happy to check them out.

Do a compression check, in my svt when I melted 2 cylinders I shot oil out the exaust as well as pooling in the intake. That would be the worst case scenario. Edit: I still put down 218fwhp on 4 cylinders though!

I've had the same problem. Once was a blown seal in the turbo. In my WRX as in my Proteg its the PCV. Get a catch can a route the PCV away from the intake path. In the Protege I'll fill up the catch can with a pint or so of blow by in a weekend of road racing.

hey byhondspeed. I jess had my car repaird for the same problem. the dealership thought it was the turbo so they got me a new 1 because the bearings were shot on it. but after they put the new 1 on the oil kept leaking. the proble is with your pistons. mine was the 3rd cylinder. we did a compression test at the dealership and the # 3 valve was about 100 psi off from the other readings. pulled the block and the piston and rod from the 3rd cylinder and sure enough the piston was cracked. due to the piston being cracked you'll get whats called blow by. let your motor run after driving for 10 min and check the lin that goes to the turbo, should be a constant drip. pull the ic piping off the turbo and you'll see the oil in the bottom of your turbo housing. I myself had oil in my IC piping, so I feel your pain. hopefully your car is covered under warrenty.I drive mine long distance to work so my milage is at 50k but mazda stands behind there product and took care of it for me. I get my car back 2morrow..............

god i hope i dont have that problem!i think i might have fixed it.i had 2 big intake track leaks.1:forgot to tighten a hose clamp 2:leaky weld on the intercooler.it now holds pressure and it seems to run great, but it ran ok before also.sp, im gonna run it alittle then im gonna take part of the pipes off and check for oil and go from there...also one other note..these turbos are rebuildable!a few people on the forums have stated they are not but actually theu are.only a few co. in the world can do it though.agp turbo is one of them..
