Oil cooler on MSP

Did anyone know that our cars had a factory oil cooler? I was looking at a manual for the mazda protege 2.0 engine and it showed an oil coller placed right before the oil filter. The oil cooler has coolant lines running through them. How efficient do you think that is? I'll try to get pictures.

Hey Bryan the parts guy at Browning was giving me a hard time when I ordered the exhast gasket for Albert, they said something about needing a vin # to be able to order a part or even look it up. If they give you a hard time let me know and I can give you my vin #.
