(cool) I am very happy!
I picked up the car tonight and have been driving, reading and playing for the last few hours. I've got the advanced keyless entry figured out. I've got all my presets into the Satellite radio. I've got MP3 CDs tested and playing. I've warmed my tush and adjusted the seat to just perfect. I took her out on the highway and switched over to manual. I'm loving this car! I can't wait to show off my new CX-7 tomorrow at work
I'll have pictures tomorrow that I'll share. Only thing I want to do is get the front windows tinted to match the rears.
Still have to teach myself how to use the navigation. I insisted on the new gas cap and was told the newest ones are shipping with it (so my car has it). Only other thing is they were supposed to put in remote start and when I picked up the car the salesperson wasn't sure if it was installed or not - LOL... the remote start transmitter wasn't in my package. Worst case scenario is I have to bring the car back to have it installed.
While I do miss my iPod the MP3 CDs are taking the sting away - and I'm still determined to find a solution, I haven't given up! Luckily, I've had Sirius for a while and love it, so that's working just fine in the new car, and it's nice to have that big screen to display more information about channels, songs, artists, etc. My last radio didn't have the category feature, so I'm loving that!
Turbo is awesome. Getting a feel for the slight lag, but it's not all that much to get used to... and boy, when she kicks in she really kicks in! FUN! The fun-factor on this car is a 10.
I'm am really happy with my decision to buy the CX-7. While dual zone heat and AC would have been nice, and memory seats even nicer, I won't miss them. And like I said... I'm determined to find an iPod solution, even if it's 6 months or a year down the road. FM Transmitter will have to do when necessary for now (glare)
