Official word of MSP 6 availability (sort-of)

I just got a call from my dealership to sign papers for a lease extension on my wife's 2000 Protege SE. Her lease was up last month, but I didn't want to buy a 6 if the MS6 was going to come out less than a year later. If you extend your lease for 2 months or less they give it to you automatically. However, if you plan for anything longer you have to fill out a form and have the dealership and Mazda Credit agree to it. I asked for an extension indefinitely until the MS6 is available. They notified me today that I will have to fill out the form and also a bill of sale for a MS6 which will arrive here in Ottawa, Ontario between Mar 15-Mar 30, 2005. Yes!!! Only 5 more months! Then there will be two MSs...whua-ha-ha-ha....two MSs in the house. Jr for my wife and Sr for me. (rockon)

That's good news but I'm promise you it will be delayed further. I've been wrong before and hope I am considering your situation but mazda isn't exactly famous for it's on time projections and release dates.

Also not to be a jackass but it's definitely not a MSP 6 (mazda speed protege 6) but rather a MS 6 right?

It really bothers me when ppl say MPS 6. It aint a freakin protege. it's a 6 or Atenza.

Nah, you're good. It's probably just most of us have grown accustomed to saying MSP for MazdaSpeed as the MSP was the only car in the US with that label.
