That game was sweet, especially since I was there haha...row 9, friend got tickets, I only paid a few dollas (120.00) but it was well worth it...place was goin nutz the whole time...

You Suck !!!! J/K. That's awesome I would love to get some tickets but man that's alot of cheese..........

I had tickets back in 96' when Detroit went into triple O.T. against St. Louis when Gretzky was still playing and Stevie made that blueline slapper to win it. Man, you talk about atmosphere...........The Joe was about to come down with all of the noise. There is nothing like a good wings game in person, other than maybe a MI game at the Big House.....or so I have heard. Still have not been to a MI football game yet.......

Yea ive never been there either, but the Joe really knows how to rock it out. They call it hockey town for a reason cuz once you get in there, I dont want to leave my seat for anything (hopefully the beer guy will see me waving for him haha). It was a great game, started off really slow...that 16 second goal was rediculous but you have to give Legace some time since this was his first playoff game and dealing with that and a penalty shot minutes later...I think he did an awesome job. Its gonna be a hard hitting series though, watch for it...its gonna be great. The grind line was taking care of those young punks. Even saw Yzerman laying on some good checks, its always good to see the captain laying out some guys once in awhile...

Well I was there for final game against Philly for the cup win. I cried during the post game celebrations. (oops)

You sissy !!!! hahaha J/K. If there ever is a good reason that is it !!

Dude, I know. But my parents have had tix since the 84-85 season and we have grown over the years with the team especially Stevie. It was great to see him finally get a cup, along with the other guys too. I never thought I'd see one stanley cup championship in my lifetime let alone 3. I can truelly die a happy man at this point. (lol2)

I hear ya bro. Nice to see a good guy like Stevie get some of what he deserves. I actually was going to name my oldest after him. He missed Yzerman's b-day by a few hrs. So, we have his middle name Steven, and my last name starts with a Y so..............He's Zachary Stevie Y to us anyway.....

wing nuts!!
did they win to day?

I could see that one coming. Don't worry, Wings win tuesday and go up 3-1, series over coming back to the Joe. ;)

Starting to get a bit nervous now. They look flat and REALLY slow. Not at all the showing I was hoping for so far ..........40 + shots last night and nothing to show for it................DAMNIT !!!

Don't be nervous yet. Nashville is playing inspired hockey. We'll see what happens at home tomorrow. Now if this trend continues tomorrow, THEN be worried. :( To be honest, all this crap about speed, I don't see it. What I see is neutral zone and the area in front of the nashville net being clogged. The Wings are taking alot of shots, but they are mostly perimeter shots. They need to keep being patient and some breaks will start going their way. Nashville has done a nice job, but they have been damn lucky at times too. (headshake

they need to get someone in front of nashvilles net. vocun or whatever his name is doing a pretty good job. someone needs to screen him.

The Wings were finally..........well........the Wings that we all know. :) Now lets close this thing out in Nashville. Kev's prediction, Wings 3-2 victory. (chair)

They did look good last night. Nice to see some first period goals for a change. Cujo starting game 6 ??
