poseur is that whistler?
Nope, Snoqualmie actually. Silly little driveway across from the rest stop up there. That's from when I went over to that Karting meet in seattle last month. My car waskinda dirty, relaly, etc, but the ligthing and everything was really nice so I parked and grabbed the camera.GHOSTWHISPER said:poseur is that whistler?

Espelir springs (claimed 1.4" drop F&R)
IN reality the rear seems to have dropped about that, maybe less and the front a bit more (which is good as I was ass-heavy before) measurd across the centercap of my wheels to the edge of the fender, I'm sitting at about 23-3/4 in the rear and 24 upfront. I seem to recall that prior to dropping it was 25 and 25.5 so about 1.5" drop upfront and 1-1/4 in the rear is close to reality. and seems about right.
I'm very pleased with this setup. Initially I'd got the 'speed wheels and hadn't really planned on much of a drop, but as soon as I drove it hard, I realized that all that extra traction had a negative effect on my handling balance. I was kind of torn between springs and a swaybar until the info on the new Espelir's started coming around, and it all looked favorable, stiffer rear rate relative to the front which in my theory relates to a quasi-swaybar setup. In reality I REALLY like the combo. Much more competent at speed. Cornering is very sharp and requires much less back and fourth on/off throttle input. Not to mention 40mph twisties are now 50mph twisties. it's THAT much of a difference. The end result is me with a grin on my face. Oh, and it doesn't look half bad either![]()
