Official Exhaust Thread

Yeah, it's hella expensive - the other reason I haven't gone that route. Definitely can't afford a new engine on a college student's budget. I mean to "bash" and it's good to know it's actually a Stage 1. I just understand these people who use like ACT Stage 6 6-puck clutches when they're probably only putting down like 200 whp. I mean, the driveability is horrible and they didn't even need the capacity in the first place. I've had the Exedy Stage 1 since March and no problems yet :)

lol u mean to bash?? yea but i dont need a race clutch or anything just one that works (thumb)
ill probably do a write up on my clutch and my exhaust when i put them on next week, look for it

I'm still back at how do you figure 200k on the oem clutch before slipping is bad? And you want the better one to last awhile. How long did it take to get to 200k? Hoping for 500k out of the stage 1?

ugh my exhaust sucks lol have a custom magnaflow no cat and no resonator .. i think it has alot of rasp to it, but when the car warms up alot of it goes away

Dubby you just need a resonator. That will kill a lot of raspiness. BTW, the P5 is looking real good. It's come quite a ways since I first saw it.

yea man two days after i bought it it looked like this

and 6 months later at 8k to pay on the car look where im at now lol

welp i got the exhaust and clutch on and i might say its alot better then stock, the clutch and exhaust, the exhaust is bigger lookin on the car then i thought and the clutch releases like a ****** rocket lol i almost stalled when i drove it for the first time (lol2)
here are some pictures of it
oh and i have some of it on the car i just have to find them, there on my computer somwhere lol

Question...If I get a OBX header with stock exhaust will it fit? and will I lose low end. I have a sport auto and it has no power as it is right off of the start, good power in the mid range but nothing at first. I cant even get the wheels to chirp from a dead stop.(bang)

The header will definitely bolt up to the stock exhaust. While I'm not an N/A guru by any means I would venture to suspect that you would lose some low-end power with the installation of a header. I'm of course speaking under the impression that any larger/free-er flowing exhaust will cause you to lose low-end.
