Off-Topic Rules?

Let me get this straight. It is the duty of a moderator to close or edit threads that either. A. get out of hand. B. not relevant to the section posted in. or C. Not apporpriate for the forum. Now, this is off-topic, yet I've seen quite an flux in closed threads as of late. However, it seems completely random. Any explanation? I have one, your a bunch of lazy asses that randomly close s*** as it blows your skirt up. What the **** is that all about? Not only that, while your closing completey worthless threads (even though it's off-topic) there are threads that are complete flame battles and bulls*** fiestas. Thats ok though, thats what this forum is all about. Closing silly threads, and allowing bulls*** to flow freely. Seems fair. How about you get an off-topic mod that takes the time to actually read a thread, before just closing whatever is convient to you. (yupnope)

Personally, I just take care of what I see and what people report to me. Now obviously I'm only one man (mind you with the sideburns of two), so I can only modahate so much.

You have a valid point though...our regular mods are not as active as they SHOULD be. Maybe it's time to tell some of them to s*** or get off the pot.

I agree. I don't see many mods about doing anything. Some of the mods are amazing and make appearances and do their job. Respectivly their areas are good...other areas look like a 2 year olds bedroom....RANDOM AS ****.

aye! aye! aye! Arriba Arriba Andale!!! I love me some tequila and a good bulls*** fiesta!!!

Already on it...Moderator Roll Call...report!

Now...not all Mods have active forums...but ALL Mods should be pulling their weight and making a positive difference...contributing something to the community. We have over 40 Mods but it's safe to say most DON'T show up on radar. It makes a HUGE difference when you have Mods who actually suggest new ideas and put time/effort into improving the community...Those are the ones we NEED!

Time to open up some Mod positions ;)

I have some ideas but my mod rights seem to be limited. Very limited....that link you posted, why cant I access it? I would like to share my thoughts with you Antoine but in a private manner.

X2.... I pretty much stopped moderating the Motorsports section when I got banned from the Admin forum. I asked to be replaced as a moderator for the "street kills" section, and ended up being some sort of "gump" version of a moderator.... I still get complaint e-mails for both the street kills, and racing forums, still have mod powers there, but can't access the admin forum to do anything...
