Obviously it would make sense to try them all out before making a final decision. I waited quite a while in order to be able to at least hold a good number of the sub compact pistols in my hand. I was also fortunate to be able to shoot a few when qualifying with my co-workers. I found that while several of the competitors shot very nice they felt very "clunky" compared to the Ruger, so I ended up purchasing the LCP.
If possible, try out a pocket holster with each one, practicing drawing. If your experience is anything like mine you'll find the bodyguards sights snagging on the soft fabric of the pocket as you try "emergency" drawing
