OEM, Slotted, Drilled and Slotted?

I think that slotted rotors would be the way to go. That is the only thing that would actually increase effeiciency.

Drilled rotors are strictly for looks and actually weaken the rotor and encourage cracks. Having the vent holes casted in the original mold (this is how Porsche does it) is the only way to get away from these issues.

Slotted ftw!

I have learned some lessons over time. Go cheap and you will be dissapointed.
Fluid and pads and lines first.
I am using dba x/s in the rears. they are not cheap but i have been pleased.
I have had bad exp too though.
I drive the hills around here pretty hard. and have for years in other cars too.
Brakes are pretty important to me. I have smoked rotors, glazed pads and boiled fluid and heck that was just last weekend.lol.
imo opinion do not change what works already. If you are exceeding the parts limits upgrade with tried and true parts. Safety is huge.
I am running ebc redstuff front and rear and DBA 4000 x/s rotor in the rear stockers up front. Goodridge ss lines and motul fluid.
But with experience and years i have found what works for me. I am not upgrading for the blingy factor. I drive hard and expect more. And i am pretty fond of being able to slow the bugger down when i need to!
one of the trade off is i need to get a little heat into the brakes to get them to bite. ( i only drive her in the warm months) Same with my tires. The slotted will disperse water quickly and help deglaze which you may or may not care about.
Rotors can warp from over torqued lug nuts too.
Make sure the rotors are the culprit first though. The stock brakes on our cars are very good imho and good luck to you

Blanks or slotted. Cuz those acutally work. Pads and fluid. Brake lines too. Win. Me personally, the stock brakes are awesome.
