OEM side sill extensions? can they fit the 2007 "I" model?

Ive bee really interested in the 2007 OEM side sill extensions for a while. I have a K-Stlye lip but I really dont like the skirts that are ment to go for it. So, ive been looking up the side sills and they all say "for 'S' model only". Will they or will they not fit the "I" model. I personally do not see a problem, but I need a second opinion before I make the purchase. Thanks.

I am pretty sure the wheelbase is the same between S and I models. Maybe the doors take up more/less of that area thus the reason they are for an S only. Know a good bodyshop? They should be able to modify them to fit I would think. Thank you for serving our country BTW!
