OEM Floor Mat

I think he means that he bought his car new from the dealership, and it didn't come with the bracket. At least that's how I read it.
yep. thats what i meant

Check with Montgomery Mazda: www.onlinemazdaparts.com. They have the best prices on OEM stuff. I have bought OEM parts from them twice and have been very happy. Reasonable prices and super fast shipping.

I have the hook in my car & I love it because it keeps the mat in place. I wish I had it in all my cars.

I went to Carling Mazda, they even had one in stock (although it usually only takes a few days to order)

I'm in the same boat as Stevie b. My floor mats have the little hole but there isn't a little hook for them in the car. It drives me nuts as the floor mats slip all over the place.

Maybe it's one more thing we can add to the Canadian vs. US difference list.

Any suggestions on how to make a hook?

I have the peg but the mat still slides all over because the peg is too small for the size of hole in the mat. Even if the peg worked, the mat will still swing aroung because the mat has little grip on the carpet.

Do you have the OEM car mats? Once I installed the peg/braket, my mats haven't moved at all.

I bought my car new and didn't know such a thing existed until I sat in a P5 that had it. I asked bagman (onlinemazdaparts) for the part number and price.

TheMAN posted the part number, 0000-88-626b. It's $3.20 plus shipping from onlinemazdaparts.com

I've got an 02 and no bracket but after seeing this I may have to get one to prevent my mats form sliding around all the time!

They have the best OEM prices around. I don't even bother to look anywhere else when I need an OEM replacement.

I should have bought one for the passenger side too. There is already a mounting hole for the bracket, all I would need is to put a hole and grommet in the passenger mat.
