Hey all, im picking up an obx underdrive pulley and was wondering a couple things...are there any noticeable gains with said pulley and also, anyone know what belt should be used? Ive heard gators are suited well for said pulley

thx in advance :)

^ Luckily the Pro's crankshaft is internally balanced, and none of that applies.

I've been using the UR underdrive pulley for 6 yrs without an engine failure (and I'm also boosted, 14 psi on a Thumper kit). So don't beleive everything you read, such as the articles posted above, especially when it doesn't apply.

ive got one for over a year now no problems... but get gates belts.. and tighten them alll the way

For those that have on installed... what about the underdriving on the components? How does it effect them? A/C doesn't work as well?

everything still works good, i didnt use AC too much before but it blows cold when u need it too
it shouldnt really affect them at all since they are unchanged, if u were to use a smaller pulley on the AC, steering, alternator then it would be maybe different

Swapped stock pulley for the UR crank pulley and lined everything up, car won't fire, even turned crank 360deg. Anybody have problems firing up after the swap?

that's really weird dude.. sounds like it's missing teeth or something.. or maybe you have the wrong one.. only other hting i can think of is that somehow you managed to pop a fuse..like the ignition fuse or something.

What's that got to do with the crank pulley? There's absolutely no need to touch the timing belt when swapping crank pulleys.

I agree with boostprotegelx.

yeah joe.. idk. unless he felt the need to pull it off for absolutely no reason. hah.

check fuses or something.

He posted here saying he figured it out. I guess he deleted the post for whatever reason.

He had it installed wrong, and the sensor ring wasn't aligned properly.
