OBX or wagner?

Im curious which would be the best for power, the obx which claims 7-10 whp, or the wagner which claims 7whp. But as you know if i get the obx i would get a high flow cat too which would possibly make me loose some of the hp i would gain anyway, opinions anyone?

i have the wagner and hopefully within a few days ill be switching the obx...the wagner has some gains to it, but i just decided to bite the bullet, screw emissions, and get the obx instead...im wondering how much improvement ill feel with the precat removed...

I have the combo set up from Andy, header, down pipe and mid pipe with cat. The car pulls nicely at 5000. But since I have adj. my cam gears the car is more lively.

I bought the Wagner and gutted my pre-cat. For some reason I think the claimed numbers are backwards. The butt dyno thinks torque numbrs went up instead of HP. But thats just me.

ebay has it too for a lil bit less than protege garage
You should know the risks associated with ebay. (gossip)

not to mention supporting a Mazda forum member... so unless the price difference is drastic I always go with a member...

ive bought many things through ebay, and knock on wood been good so far, i buy things only from stores who sell their stuff on ebay, nothing used or anything like that

ya torque goes up quite a bit. at least 7-10 lbs. the whp numbers are mild.

i say get the obx and get rid of that first cat. god that thing is so restrictive.

yeah, then ill need a high flow cat cuz i dont want to be catless, cuz my corksport power series exhaust removes the 2nd cat.

If you decide to go with the Wagner header, be prepared to wait a ******* long time. (pissed) (see group buy for details)

i love my wagner header, passed emissions in ohio with it, no questions asked. i actually had to ship back the first one i got because a weld cracked around one of the runners, but they replaced it free of charge (just took a couple months....due to the group buy) but overall i love it.

i also saw someone on here that a dyno showed a power LOSS with the OBX.
