So I was wondering...and please keep in mind I'm not someone with alot of money...I'm pretty sure I have a faulty O2 sensor and need to replace it. The things is, it cost about $40 to buy a universal sensor and about $90-$100 for an exact fit sensor. The dollar difference is pretty significant, but are the two types really that different? I need some feedback.

its all in the wires. if you can work with wires and figure them all out then go for the universal, if not, head to a parts story, ex napa, and shop around for a cheaper price. i always go with direct fit even though i can do wiring because i wouldnt want something to happen down the road.

never go with universal, im speaking because i have one and it sucks completely. unless its downstream, but still downstream will fail you about 5k down the road. it did for me. three times.
