Okay, so the snow is already coming down, and I'm terrible at organizing stuff, probably better to put this off until it's warmer out but I wanted to see if there was interest.
There are TONS of great roads up around here and I figured a route 2 trip might be pretty fun. I take it to and from work every day. It stretches from the Albany, NY area all the way (I believe) to Boston, MA, and possibly beyond. Since it's such a long stretch and there aren't tons of places (that I know of) to stop at along the way it may become difficult to find a central meeting place.
Just to whet your appetite:
You will see cars, people, dogs, mountains, fun curvy roads, sweet valleys with rivers alongside the road, a big crazy scary golden elk, cute little towns, scenic overlooks with views of three states.
You may see deer, raccoons, beavers, porcupines, moose, wild turkeys, and bear. If you're lucky you may seem them all dancing together.
So, just curious if anyone's interested in this at some point in time. Down through the valleys between North Adams and Deerfield are some decent picnic areas I believe, could be fun.
