hello,
ill be moving out to NC around next aug-oct and looking to get into the mazda sceen their.
im currently im afgan but stationed out of oahu hawaii. i have a 03 MSP that was originaly spicy orange but is now midnight black with ice pearl blue metal flakes in the paint. ton of mods in/out and under the hood. just trying to get a feel for whats in NC. i belong to Team Xplizt on oahu.

Why in God's name would you not just find a Black Mica for sale and modify that color a little? Really?

its all black no emblems and is a sleeper! i loved the orange but cops can pick me out of a crowd. im @ Fob Geronimo, Nawa District.
not too mention i like the balck its got an ice pearl blue metal flake in it. what branch are you in?

I'm not in a branch. I'm one of those evil contractors. I work on SatCom (SNAP Systems). I'm assisting (serving) the Army. Some of my coworkers were just in Hawaii working on a base there. If you're on KAF, let me know.

Also, I got attention all the time... why else would I have bought a slow orange car?

Regardless your reason, turning a Spicy into a Black MSP is still blasphemy to Mazda... no matter how you slice it. I mean, flat orange or burnt orange would've been acceptable substitutes.

KAF is that Kabul or where is that base? either way the color is what it is....too each his own. i dont know what you have done to your MSP but their not that slow. how do youfind out the # on the MSPmine doesnt have the # anywhere on the car? are you from NC?

KAF = Kandahar Airfield. It's outside of Kandahar City.

You're right, the color is what it is... I can't change it. It still saddens me to see a Spicy orange in sheeps clothing.

The MSP is slow... stock anyhow. I mean, she's not a slouch but let's be real, N/A Civic Si's are faster, hell EVERY factory tuned car is faster than ours. I had a friend who drove an AT 2007 Camry and it was faster. They were quick... for their time.

i guess each car is different. when i bought the car in 08 it had 2 and a half inch exaust hard pipes and a hks ssqv bov and short shifter and i smoke civic si's!
its far from stock now though. when do you get back to the US?
