normal mazda dealer for warranty?

i got my ms3 through a broker from a mazdaspeed dealer in PA, about an hour and a half from me. i called my broker, and he said to call the local mazda dealer, which isn't a mazdaspeed dealer...oh, i am in the warranty boat because some of the stitching is coming up from my shift boot for some odd reason.

anyway, i called the dealership, and though he was not very good at listening, he eventually understood it was a mazdaspeed3 and said to bring it in to review the issue. he said nothing about not being able to handle the warranty issue.

we have no mazdaspeed dealers in the area, so this is the easiest option for me, hope it works.

I see no reason why any Mazda dealer wouldnt be able to honor the warranty on the Mazda regardless of them being a Mazdaspeed dealer or not... the only issue is if they dont have someone TRAINED to fix the issue due to it being Mazdaspeed... Im sure stitching on shiftboot is something they fix on regular 3s so I would guess you're ok...
