Noob Introduction

Hey guys,

I'm pretty new over here, but not the car scene. Figured i'd join up since the other forums I'm part of are not so big and there are not big local followings.

Anyways, I drive a 92' ford probe, owned it for about 4 years and its come quite a ways, as most of you probably know its based off the gd chassis shared with the mx6. However mine is the only such model with an actual ford engine (ohv 3.0 v6) rest is all mazda. I've done endless things with it, and hope to eventually swap in a f2t motor with a t3. But as a full time college student, funds and time are of the issue. As you are probably wondering why a probe, well i never intended to get one if sort of just fell into my lap at the right price. I ended up falling in love with it and the fact that you don't see them much anymore never mind modded. Car is currently sleeping for the winter and will hope fully see some road time this summer. Mods are endless but here's the overview:

-Konig villain 17x7 +40
-tokicos struts eibach springs, poly endlinks, Fstb
-06' Mazda6 front brakes (1"larger over stock)
-pacesetter catback and sts
-Awr mounts
-Asp Udp
-Polk Speakers all around
-Mazdaspeed racing buckets (not real), harnesses/bar

Thanks guys! always nice to get positive feedback, the car was recently in the january issue of superstreet in the readers rides section, I believe i won their tire giveaway of the same issue since my car got the most votes on their facebook page but i have yet to hear from them lol

I would call back if I were you. Thats got to be one of the if not the cleanest Probe I have ever seen. Certainly magazine worthy. I hope I get to see it in person.

Thanks man, it's certainly not the cleanest out there but i try, and my goal is originality, 2012 will bring a few aesthetic and suspension mods, and some new wheels when i finish restoring them, i definitely want to make it out to some meets though!

Wow just wow that probe is amazing. I never see those that clean mainly cause of rot and peoples lack interest. But have you ever thought of instead of swapping a f2t mayb possibly swapping a sho 3.0 v6. They have the sale bell housing as the vulcans but its a far better engine. Youll also have 230 hp out of the box.

thanks man! i never see them either unfortunately as far as i know i'm one of the last with a 1g probe active in new england on any of the forums that i'm on. I do plan on a f2t swap in the future or even an fe3 if i have the car years down the road. but as a full time college student and with another in depth project (66' GTO resto for the last 5 years) i don't have the time or money to dedicate towards an engine swap right now. But i'd love to at some point as i love this car and i would love boost along with it.
