I was wondering if i could use the following connector to install an amp as opposed to having to go through the back of the stock deck.
Or is this even an audio connector?
however, i'm primarily interested in knowing what this connector is for, there is no reference to it in the manual and if it is possible to tap into it, the only type of wiring that would require from the front of the car would be the power from battery to amp, thus resulting in less than an hour install eliminating the hassle of disassembling the center console, etc.
p.s. this connector is located in the lower right corner of the trunk.
