Noisey Protege....

I have read some messages that state they hear wind noise @ highway speeds. However has anyone heard noise from the rare, the trunk area. My family says that my car is really noisey and I agree. My sis has a '98 626 and it's much quieter. I hear noise from every where the windows, the engine, the tran, and as stated before the rare. It sound like they forget to put sound lower material everywhere. Anyone else feels the same way.

My MP3 is actually more quiet than my wifes 2000 Civic EX. I was impressed with the quietness in such an inexpensive car. But it is kinda loud now that I've put the CAI on it. It growls and hisses now.

That means I should never buy a Civic then. Right?

Dont get me wrong, the Civics are very good cars. If driven right and taken car of you will die before the Honda does. But after I drive mine for a while then drive hers, I'm sooo spoiled by mine.

Noisy? Tell 'em it's a race car and it should be noisy!

I have read that the real noise issue is the windshield header and that there is a fix if you say something. (It means taking out the windshield and changing out the gasket.) I drove a P5 the other day while my MP3 was in the shop and it was noisy.

If you're goin' zoom, you'll hear some boom!
