No Sound from speakers

So last night I go to hard wire my portable navi. Everything went well initially. Everythings working. I realize s***, I have 2 extra screws. So, too lazy to go disconnect the battery again I pull out my center console/radio/ashtry assembly. When I hook everything back up, I didn't get any tell tale sparks. This morning wake up to go to work, I have no sound. Radio display, all my lights, navi, everything is working, but just no sound. Change the source, same thing. I determined it is unlikely to be the Bose amp because my sub amp is hooked up before the amp, & that doesn't even play. I haven't checked the radio or any fuses yet, but if the audio fuse blows, I'm assuming the radio shouldn't come on? I looked in the repair manual that was posted awhile back in another forum, it gives a step to press AUDIO CONT for 2 seconds. What is this? Is it somekind of audio reset? I've never heard of. Anyways, just wondering if anyone had any ideas. I'm at work & frustrated that I can't be out there tweaking on this problem.

Well when you were wiring your portable nav did you mess with the audio cables from your stereo?
If so try checking if any of the cables came loose or came off completely.

I was able to correct this issue when I got home. Turned out the blue power lead was open hence no sound, but everything else worked.
