No good deal?

First post here and glad to join this forum. I am in the market for a Y2011 GT FWD in white but couldn't get a good deal (at least not as good as I think)

Is CX-9 really that hot? I have visited 3 and called 2 other dealerships. The best deal I can have is $1,000 below invoice with 0%. I thought with Y2012 car coming, the Y2011 car should cheaper than what I got quoted.

What is your deal for Y2011 car? Is $1,000 below invoice good enough?

you could always check truecar.com for your area. off the cuff that sounds like a pretty good deal.

also keep in mind there could still be inventory issues due to the quake.

Come back to each dealer 1x per wek and walk away every time just to taunt the salesman, and he will eventually realize that he can actually make a sale. Also, be sure to pit one dealer against the next. Fully loaded FWD GT for 34 -36k, no reason that can't happen.
