No CD info w/ nav system

Just got a 07 Grand Touring w/ navigation & 6 disc CD, and love it. The question I have is with the CD player. The CD info, artist, title, etc. is supposed to display on the screen. I've tried several different CD's and no info posts. Just the dreaded -----. Any way to activate this?

It depends on the CD actually. Some will have info, some will not. Try the double CD by Matchbox Twenty...that one shows info like track name and album.
