hey guys I just installed a custom front mount. I've checked all clamp nice and tight, Now correct me if I'm wrong but the vacuum T that has the wastegate, the vaccum line that used to go to the bpv(now going to the bov) and then to the manifold is the correct routing? The vacuum going from the valve cover that went to the original intake is not connected i put a breather on it will that work?
No boost after FMIC install?

maybe the intercooler itself has a leak? have you done a smoke test? your routing sounds correct and preferably you'd want the hose from the valve cover to reconnect to your intake.
I have not had a chance to smoke test it....I might put everything back to stock and just wait for smic hard pipes...it's very frustrating. The type of bov is a type rs could the spring possibly be to stiff? Also I used to be able to hear a bov noise when I reved it now I can't

You just have a leak somewhere in the piping. Don't give up the FMIC is absolutely worth it. The RS is intended for higher boost cars the smaller Type S suits the MSP much better. As for the breather I have had a breather on the PCV vent tube for a couple years, it causes a slight vac leak and will throw a P0171 after the car idles for a while. You can get an oil catch can or hook up the tube before the turbo to prevent the CEL. Even with the code stored my car still passed inspection.
