nitto tires?

anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with nitto?
im looking into summer tires pretty soon, and i want a tire that has decent handling (ms6 is my daily driver..no auto x or anything) that will still allow to take harder turns and at speeds, but my main concern is treadwear. i want a long lasting tire i cant keep buying tires every year!

anyways, i thought i had a couple choices from different brands until sitting here for hours on end reading reviews.
then i saw the nittos. both the invo and the nt 555 seem to have awesome reviews and many last 40000k + miles!

anyways, anyone had any experience?

When it comes to tires you get what you pay for.

I just put Goodyear Eagle GTs on my speed6. LINK

I like them and their tread wear after a winter is very good. They have good grab on corners (note the first thing you lose when you get grippy tires is tread life). I also have RX-8 wheels not sure what size you have so i hope that helped.

mostly true. its like that old saying

Cheap
Good (long life)
Fast (performance)

pick two. if you want all three, its gonna cost more.

I'm sorry, I hate condradicting people on a forum and rarely do but I can't bite my lip when it comes to tires.

You get what you pay for is soo untrue when it comes to tires. Especially Goodyear, those have to be some of the worst tires every made. I have a friend who owns a tire shop and he loves loyal Goodyear customers cause they are back the most often with problems and worn out tires. He makes a killing on them.

Mostly different tires are better for different cars. It's trial and error, Nitto's have a rep for import cars but my buddy has them on his Lightning and loves em. I've had Cooper Cobra's on a previous car and will buy them again for this car just cause I was so happy with them.

Go by the ratings that are written on the tires for wear, speed and traction as well as the patterns and make your decision, don't expect a great tire just cause you paid more.

I will let that go after I say this.

Trolls need to GTFO and find another bridge to sit under.

I am just giving you the experience that I have had with tires, some have had better, some have had worse. The bottom line is what you end up doing is going to be good. You can sub in whatever BRAND of tire you want with what I said about price and will come up with the same thing.

see i currently have the goodyear eagle f1 a/s. ive had them for about 20k miles, looking to get a lil more out of tires tho. they are all wearing at theyre own pace and are loud as hell. very irritating.
