I'm on my second set of Nitto NT850 CUV+ but I'm not in Canada, and they don't do very well in snow, but we only have slippery roads maybe 5-7 days out of the year in central Kentucky.

However, for every other category, they are a winner. Looking at the tread pattern, looks like they might do ok in light snow, but they might be loud on the highway.

I steer clear of Michelin/Goodyear/Bridgestone or any other of those as they tend to have really high prices and you don't get superior performance compared to other brands.

We got a lot of rain here over the past few weeks. I drive through smooth suburb roads for 10 mins, then smooth highway roads for 60 mins, then lumpy-pot-holed city streets for another 30 mins 5 days a week. I must say these Nitto NT421Q are pretty quiet and have excellent dry and wet traction. I get a lot of open and empty roads during my commute to work - I'm on the road at 5:00am-6:30am in the morning. I have been known to test out the limits of my tires traction with some spirited driving on these empty streets and highways :)

So far, I'm happy with the Nitto's. Compared to the Michelin Lat's, Nitto cost was a lot less (less 50.00 or more per tire). 4 Tires installed, balanced and lifetime free tire rotation for $895.00 CAN is a good deal for my dolla dolla.
