I have a choice to make...

This year for AutoX I can run Nitto Neo Gens for $60 a piece.

The alternative is to run Falken Azenis RT-615s for $73 a piece.

Has anyone AutoX'ed either of these tires? What did you think?

Either one of these tires will be used for AutoX only.

Thanks!

Falkens should be better. I have the neo gens on the car now they are not a horrible tire but not the best either.

I would like to stay with street tires this year.

What would you suggest if I decided to go with race tires?

That is all a function of money, class allowances, how competetive you want to be, etc.

DOT R-compounds will be 1-2 seconds faster on a 60 second course over the best street tires. The 4 "slicks" choices are Hankook Z214, Kumho V710, Hoosier A6, and the BFG R1 (of which I have no experience with).

But the top tier street tires are narrowing the gap ALOT. The new Toyo tire is retardedly sticky from looking/feeling it this last weekend on some ST* cars.

The top street tires are the Falken 615, Bridgestone RE-01, Yokohama Neova AD07, Toyo R1R, maybe Kumhos new tire that is replacing the MX, Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1....

As you can see there is alot more variety in the top street tires than the r-compounds, plus you can drive to the event on them.

Well, seems like ppl like the Falkens more. I will probly go with those for this year.

Thank you Everyone!
