I think they should make a mazdaspeed 5 awd. I would buy it.

as long as it wasn't wwaaaaayyy too heavy with the turbo and awd and such, though the MS6 felt a lot more agile than I would have thought it could at it's weight, so maybe it's not a problem.

Damn!!! I'd sport that. Its really aggressive looking.

From what I understand about the factory turbo'd rx models from the past is that the heat could not escape from the engine bay, thus cracking and breaking the hoses and piping. So mazda quit producing turbo'd rx's.
I was told this by a mazda technician, is this true?

hood vent FTW! :)

Remake Mazdaspeed protege with stronger LSD and FMIC!!!!!

Just kidding~ I wish the next one will be MX-5, but I highly doubt it.

Well they already did the Miata, so I doubt it. Would be cool to see an MS5, but that would never happen. The NA market is not the right kind for that. RX8 is definately more appropriate, when you look at it from the economic point of view.

Well, I saw four 2007 MS6 autos being unloaded today at the mazda dealership, I was hoping to see some ms3's but i guess they're still a month or so away from hitting dealerships.

I think the RX8 would be the best car to recieve the mazdaspeed treatment next because it already handles like a mofo. It's a light car with great weight distribution. Plus it looks like it will only be around for a couple more years unless they decide to redesign. Mazda usually 'mazdaspeeds' their cars once they get close to the end of their production cycle, however, the current mazda3 will be around for at least another two or even three years. I'd still love to see that 2.3 turbo thrown in the mx-5.

On a side note, Mazda is really kickin' some ass these days. They've got some of the best looking cars out right now and have finally got the gonads to up the power on these great cars. Mazdaspeed forever!

I'm rooting for a Mazdaspeed5. If they don't do it, I'll have to :) I want a turbo 5 so much, it would be so pimp!
MS5 FTW(first) It's already a good car, so let MS make it better.

Ya the MSM wasn't their biggest success. I've been rootin for an MS RX8 for a while. It's the next "car" in the Mazda line that doesn't have an MS version. For current models they got the 3, 6, Miata, Protege, the RX8 is bound to be next.
They kinda pussed out with the MSM but I drove one and it was quite a thrill. It was pretty quick and easy to drive. On the down side the gearing was way too short. I hit the rev limiter at like 49 mph in 2nd and I heard the top speed is only 127. But just imagine that car with a different FMIC, tb exhaust, intake, and a couple more psi. Fun, and it handles exceptionally.
