okay, so i went on kind of a mod rampage with the gli. the new mods are:

1. all vents, vanes, and partitions removed from inside airbox, with a 3" ram air feed from the bumper.

2. diode installed to clamp map sensor voltage (eliminates limp mode, ecu only reads up to 10 psi now) and btw i know i need to be careful. the afm and factory fuel system can compensate up to 16 psi.

3. mbc set to 15psi under load, and 14psi falling to 12psi @ redline otherwise.

4. vents in passenger fenderwell liner to allow more airflow through the intercooler. it sits about 2 inches from the liner and not much air can get through it, stock.

results: a big-ass smile on my face as the car absolutely rips now. next on the list are polyurethane tranny mount bushings to kill the wheel hop (sitting @ home waiting to be installed), and a turboback exhaust (bump paying $1200 for one, i'll go custom).

....Kidding. I realize there's nothing to see of these mods. Enjoy your new power!

thanks, bro. i'm still playing with the mbc, trying to get it dialed in perfect. but there is something to be said about smooth power delivery (which i don't have anymore). it surges pretty bad, the car is either IN boost or OUT of it, but it's fast so i'm alright for now.

awsome man, let us know what kind of power you think you are at or if you get a dyno
