07 Msp6 just two weeks old driven 1600 miles. Had Oil changed at 1000 mi. the car is stock. Engine light came on just now. Gas cap on tight. Oil level fine. Oil cap tight. Drove fine back to my house.
Any thoughts....
Nearest dealer is 25 miles. Should I drive it in or have it towed?

CEL shouldn't be a big deal with so few miles...if there's an autozone or levine near you just have them pull the code for you for free...it could be something as simple as a cylinder misfire. You could also try disconnecting the battery terminal for a minute and the computer will reset and clear the code...if it comes back on after that take it to the dealer. Also if the car is driving fine there's really no need for a tow...if you really think it's necessary though go for it.

cel was a pressure valve code for the fuel system. they checked it and it was fine . if it comes back again they will order the pressure valve.
