newbie exhaust question

I just got my crystal white MS3. Im new to having a turboed car my prior car was a focus SVT. Anyway im wondering what the stock exhaust diameter is and are there any exaust videos of the complete stock exhaust with just a test pipe or down pipe? im very anal about my cars and do not want to hack up the stock exhaust if i can't get the sound/performance i want with keeping the stock setup i guess i will go with a aftermarket cat back set up.

there are some good write-ups in the "how to" section of this forum about exhaust stuff. you can youtube vids of ppl sitting the camera next to the tailpipe just to show how their setups sound
