newbi need brake help....

my brakes are basically done... on the rear but i was going to change out all 4 because they where cheap advanced auto pads that i got all four rotors and pads for like 30 bucks... so basically they sucked made noises and never stopped...


i was looking for something cheap and good... my mom drives the car so its not like its pushed or anything...but i want good pads so when she has to stop she can... i was looking at the oem pads and they are like 100 bucks for the front and rear... so i was thinking the ebc green front and rear for 120 plus shipping... its just i thought that was to aggressive for my mom... anything in the middle? and how about rotors? i couldn't find any i liked... ebay? and if someone could get me a price on this stuff that would help... or links... to some sites?

On my previous car I was really happy with the Hawk HPS pads ... not sure if they make them for you car or not. I think I paid like 98 bucks or so for the front pads etc.

local guys here like the hawk hp+, stop on a dime, but say they are noisy.

edit: oh, and Ken over at mazda6online has decent prices on brakes, and i've heard that the green ebcs are fine.

Hawk HPS here. Slightly better than stock with much less dust $80 for the front pair.
