JDM, Sport20 Familia 4wd.
Well not New Zealand, not even one of its citys... Just one random resident
Heya, I'm Simon, drive a Sport20 Famila 4wd. It comes with the FS-ZE engine with has different cams, and higher compression, to the usual FS-DE. However the 4wd does rob a significant ammount of power!

Just thought i's say hello.
Whats happening out there in the great big wide world!

very very nice! welcome! i also went from a graceful red bg to a sunlight silver bj. very good transition to make :) i really love the interplay front end. thats a sexy bg

The BG, was something of an odd ball. It was FWD, but it had a DOHC 1800cc bp engine. It used to rev its heart out! It also had bigger brakes and the GTX turbo interior. Was sad to see it go.

Silver is sexy though!
:)

Welcome! And you're right...Silver is sexy! Especially Liquid's...

Welcome to the forums! Great looking car--it's always fun to see what's available in other markets. I wish I had 4wd--then I could park on grass too! :) What kind of mileage do you get with the 4wd system? How does it perform?

Can't wait to go home and see pictures of this. Most photo hosting sites are blocked here at work... FTL!

4wd does mean i can do donuts on gravel... :D

But on tarmac a standard FWD would beat it. I'm not sure what the drive train loses would be, but its probably close to 50%, and you don't really need the additional traction once you're rolling. However, I imagine it would be perfect if you lived somewhere with a lot of snow - and damm fun!

Liquid that is one super tidy BG! I should find some other pics of mine. You've got me all nostalgic now! I really wish i'd kept my mine to use as a track day car!

As for the difference between the two cars. The Sport20, has different pistons, cams, basic factory headers, intake runners, brakes and of course white dials. I'm not exactly sure of the differences, so don't quote me. Its just what i've been able to deduce. There is certainly a vacuum of info, when it comes to the Sport20

I think it would be really cool for you to have a USDM P5 in New Zealand as well as me having a NZDM P5 here sooooooo........let's just trade & use same shipper so price will be the same. Sound like a plan???????

ship it to me first, ill ship it back with appropriate sided steering wheels ;) mine has all of the appropriate sport 20 badging and paraphenalia, and its mad hot, so no one will know
