New wheels

I just got my wheels put on my car tonight at a speedshop. There the 17*7 Racing Hart Concept 5's with a 40mm offset. I dont know who told me that im gonna rub with that offset, but I dont rub one bit, and I sit exactly the same with my new wheels as I did with the stock 16's...I also asked the guy if im gonna rub with my eibach kit getting put on this weekend. He said that I have plenty of room. I took a chance and it worked out. I will post pics after the springs are on.

What size are the tires on your wheels? I remember telling you or someone else that 40 offset would work. I also remember a certain vendor on this board saying that it wouldn't work no matter what you do. Very interesting development there.

Hey Apexistud....For some reason I knew they were gonna fit. I could have put those wheels in 18's with a 44mm offset and it would have worked. I have plenty of room in my front wheel well. Also I stood over the back wheel wheel looking down and I have enough room to get away with the eibach kit. For some reason when they were put on at night..they didnt look too big. Now im writing at 8:30 in the morning and they look nice. Pics will be posted net week when eibach kit is installed

Once again, I have to tell you, there is no such thing as the Racing Hart C5 (3 piece) wheel anymore.
You have the RH Evo c5 Kai probably, once you post pics I can tell immediately. The Evo line may have the racing hart name, but definetely not the same.
Either you got scammed or the person you had them had a HUGE invenotry left over, because I know everyone was looking for original C5s once they stopped producing them, including us (Mark Diamond Motorsport of Abington, PA).

None the less, there basically the same looking wheel. And they are the RH Evolution C5. So your probably right when saying there not the TRUE C5's. But I must say they look good.

sorry i didnt mean to be all mean, just didnt want you to be mis-informed, ive seen a lot of people getting ripped around here.
and yeah, the C5 evos are nice!!!! I like them as well. good choice =)

They were going for 1500.00 for 18's with toyo tires. They were exactly the ones I have but more chrome. Im getting a digial camera from one of my friends. Im off next tuesday so I will defiently post pics with the eibach kit that will be installed this weekend.

I saw the real Concept 5. They were on wheelmax's website a little while ago. They were going for 1500.00 for 18's with toyo tires.

The "Concept 5" is no more of a real Racing Hart wheel than the RH Evo C5 is. Actually, the quality of the RH Evo is marginally better than that of the Katana Concept 5. The REAL Racing Hart C5 has been discontinued like Jon said for several years now and if you could find them avalible somewhere they would run about $600 A PIECE without tires.

Thanks Section8. I just cant believe people told me I would rub with the EH EVO C5'S. I got nothing but compliments about my wheels and I do think that my wheels are as good or if not better then the Katana C5'S.
