new wheels on speed 3

From what I understand....the Feds are requiring TPMS to be installed on all new cars -- model years 2008 or 2009. So get used to it....no just joking. Actually, I didn't anticipate the extra cost for tire changes. That really bites! Tirerack has the Mazda sensors in stock but they are stupid expensive! It's like $500 for 5 sensors.

You're correct about the feds requiring it. My dads stock broker called him after that law passed because the company that produces all of these stock was selling for .05-.10/ share. I believe that all 2007+ cars are required to have it...back on topic...post some daytime pics!

Ahah, jerk! =) You made me panic for a sec there. I don't have those sensors on my 3 and from what I've heard, I'm glad I don't. =-)
I think you mean 4 sensors?

As long as you don't have one broken, you can always transfer them everytime you get a new set of tires put on. I don't think they work on steelies for some reasons. And they really shouldn't even charge for changing those sensors over. =\

ive never had tpms before so i have a question: can the stock sensors be transferred from the old wheels to new ones or do you have to buy brand new sensors?

Yes they can if the new wheels have the clearance for them. I transfered my sensors from the stock wheels to my Rays/Gram Lights with no problems this past Monday.
