The lowering kit was the eibach springs that you get at the dealers. Nothing special but does the trick.
I think my issue with the old wheels were 195/45/15" on a 7" rim looked stretched. (The car I took them off of was a serious static slam.) The factory 15 were 55's, so they actually looked pretty decent, on account of having some sidewall. (Also the jmags are 16")
Yeah, curb feeler FTW. I can't recommend them enough. A touch of old school, and saves the curb rash on expensive wheels.
