New wheels! not on my car lol

:
2003 Spicy Orange MSP, boosted Miata dead and parted
so most of use miata guys like running lightweight wheels and we like them wide.

www.949racing.commakes a set called 6ul's they came in 15x7, 15x8, 15x9 but only 4x100

until this summer

Emilio (owner of 949racing) has just announced a 17x8 5x114.3 +48 wheel, which would be perfect for our car.

16.4lbs so lighter than the racing hearts, they look good, are strong, an inch wider, and have the same offset as the racing hearts

they are gonna be the 6ulr model if you wanna see how they look

prices on the 17x8's haven't been annouced yet, with a 9" being 239 it'll prob be a lil bit cheaper hopefully the same price difference between the 9" and 10" wheel. ($40) making the 17x8 $200

i'd rock them... subbing for info

If these are 48mm offset then they are not the same offset as stock Racing Harts. The stockers are 55mm. But you'd have to push an 8" wide rim out to clear the stock struts on the inside so 48mm is prolly necessary. If I'm doing the math right the outer edge of the wheel would be out about 20mm farther than stock. In a 16" rim if the car isn't lowered much you might get away with it without rubbing.

EDIT: Just realized you were talking MIATAs, not MSPs... oops, lol. I have Miata rims on my MSP (see sig pic) and they are 17 x 7 x 55mm offset, but they're not Racing Harts. I thought the only Racing Harts designed for the Miata were 4-lug.
