New/used Msp

03.5 YLW MSP
I just recently purchsed a 03 MSP. I'm curious as to how much power is it putting out realisicly. SO far it has the below mods that I've discovered. The car holds like 6 or 7psi.

The exhaust is a major problem on these cars. You should gain power up top with a nice exhaust.

176@ the crank. About 140-150@ the wheels (stock). That exhaust and maybe the FMIC are the only things you would probably see making any bit of a difference.

congrats on the purchase. im running a apexr1 catted j/mid with the sp2. you should see some good gains after getting rid of the cats. post some pics of the car

I think everything infront of the at back exhuast is stock... I haven't checked. I really dont plan on doing much else to the car but i had the midpipe coming in the mail before i even seen this msp. lol

That looks to be a Perrin FMIC from the pipes and the AC relocation.
I'd know those pipes anywhere :D
It was IIRC the largest intercooler available for our car.

the catless mid pipe is by far the best mod , money and gain wise, hands down.

you won't believe the diffrence with the mods you have now.

looks great
BLAZING YELLOW is possibly the best color for the 03.5's

Thanks! I wasn't to sure aobut the yellow and figured I can always repaint it but its growing on me!

I noticed a very low vacuum on you gauge, did you happen to have the air conditioning on when that pic was taken???

for some reason whenever I read your user name, I wanna say Best Western. Just had to share that. I think it is or used to be a hotel chain if you don't know what I'm talking about.
(alright)

It is and still is a hotel chain across the country. Your the first one to make that comment. lol

Could of been I dont recall. However I believe its always that low at idle with or without ac on.

You should check it. Should be at the VERY least 16 at idle, and that's if your gauge reads a awkwardly, like mine does. 95% of MSP owners read 20vac!

If your vac reading is low that means you have a leak. Get it fixed NOW!
