New Turbosmart BPV kit from SU.com

I see that Stre et unit has come out with a MS3/MS6 specific Turbosmart BPV kit. Has anyone had a chance to try it out? I'm thikning of getting a BPV kit in hopes that my boost would hold better. I hear it can help out with shifting.

Do you guys think that a BPV can help keep the RPMs up?

Any BPV upgrade will hold boost better than the plastic stock BPV.

I have it on my car running the normal spring, and I love it. its stealthy, almost sleeper sound, but performs awesome. It performs better than my Forge did, IMO. I recommend it!

I'm stock engine other than the Turbosmart BPV. It's definitely worthwhile even if you're not adding more performance upgrades.

Compared to the stock BPV, the Turbosmart is more consistent and more reliable construction. I had no major problems with my stock BPV, however I by monitoring an STRI boost gauge I noticed there is no fluctuation with pressures like I had with the stock BPV. The spikes and relief are the same, however in low rpms for me, or between shifts the stocker would hammer from positive pressure to vacuum sometimes.

I've heard it is noticeably different (louder) than stock. All reviews I've seen like it though.

Put mine on about a month ago and although I don't have any quantitative gains to report, it's just good insurance knowing that I've replaced the wimpy plastic stock piece. At gearchanges, it is louder but it's not even close to being obnoxious and has the same pitch and sound as the stock BPV.

Good piece but don't expect any real gains unless your stock BPV is leaking or not working consistently.

Yep....very good bpv. You wont notice any "gains" per say unless your oem one is leaking bad...but you will notice 2 things: better lower boost response...and It does hold the boost better in the higher rpm . So that alone is worth getting it..added bonus is it can come witn 2 springs so if your going bigger turbo it will hold up to 25 psi..and sheez when you hold the pathetic plastic oem bpv in your hand along side the turbosmart one it just makes you feel soooo much better having the turbosmart in your car. Highly reccomend.
