New Toy - FMIC

A more direct route will keep the throttle responsive. Radiant heat really isn't going to be an huge issue. Check out Matty P's video of the womp, granted it does have a ceramic coated housing, but it stays relatively cool. A good core should be more than able to keep charge air temps down.
On top of all of that, upgrading the radiator is a large concern and element of the design.

finally found this pic....figured I'd post up a visual example of how I plan to map out my piping.

cool... it looks like I won't be making a custom kit anymore though. keep us updated on your progress.

good luck with it! That was my #1 kit choice, but in the end the $$ talks....I'm hoping *crosses fingers* that I can keep my bottom line around $500 by the time I'm done. I have only $200 invested, so I'm doing good so far. Another $50 - $75 for the semi-rigid stuff to map the piping, then however much to have the piping fabbed from the dye's that I make up.
