New to the Mazda Speed3 Fam

not sure what its called but where that L-shaped wire is, I broke the tip off that bone (its the end of the long bones on the top of your feet) and I dislocated the 3 middle toes, 1 at the knuckle and 2 where they connect to my foot.

NH eh... be sure to check out the nepoc section and the local north east section for autocross and meet funness...

I referred to that break in procedure immediately after leaving the lot on my new 04 GSXR600. Way back in the day, we used to say "break it in like you want it to run".

And for the guy that posted about motorcycles, got that covered too

Haha, since you have that covered, you have any advice for ME about not breaking bones on my new bike? I spilled on it a few days ago and got some road rash (gravel road), its not as planted as my dirt bike on that loose s*** (Honda CRF230L).

haha sorry LukeP, if you've ever watched the bmx in the x-games, thats what i do on a mountain bike. broken my wrist too many times so i cant ride at skateparks with a bmx bike, need a mountain bike with a front shock so my wrists can absorb the impact. haven't spilled on the motorcycle yet.

Break in proceedure

A buddy of mine bought a mustang 5.0 about the same time I did. His brother worked for Roush Racing and told him to go run it hard with lots of engine braking to seat the chrome rings. I did it the other way, slow and easy. Ours are both running fine still, I got over 220K with no oil burn. When he hit 200K, running fine he took the car up to Michigan and his brother stuffed it full of Nascar parts, custom intake, etc. The things a beast.
Bottom line, done right both methods work, just more fun to use the run it hard route.

Hey I know how you must be feeling with the busted foot, sucks. I just had shoulder surgery and can't use my left arm. Now they tell me it will be at least 6 weeks! Got boxes of parts ready to go in and all I can do is look at them. Good time for you to do some research and get some parts coming in!
