As for HIN... i will NEVER EVER EVER go there again... beig as we stood in line for over 2 hours... the line wrapped around the entire convention center and then some...no thanks!! and there werent many cars and there was a fight. plus i will be camping that weekend anyways... but im up for a meet when ever your guys pick a date.

Yea, so anyway since the last time i posted i successfully completed the install of my injen CAI as well as my Racing Beat CB. Got my C2's on with the 1.5" drop as well...looked great. So the other day I had a flat tire (already!) after spending a little bit of time looking for a good jack point without scraping the underside of the side ground effects, I got the car up at which point I proceeded to break out the spanner tool to unscrew the center cap on the wheel. Come to find out, the guy I had install my springs (so-called professional mechanic) must have gotten a little hurried near the end of the installation and totally cross-threaded the wheel with the center cap. Without realizing this, I drove around for about 3000 miles, allowing plenty of time for the two pieces of aluminum to basically heat up and weld themselves together. I guess nothing can ever be as easy as it should be... Anyway, Im in the process of getting the wheel to a machine shop to see if rethreading is an option, but the wheel distributor I ordered from are kinda giving me the run-around on getting a new center cap, dish, and spanner tool (I broke the other one). Does anyone have any ideas on who to contact to get these items? Thanks in advance for any ideas....

well, i got the wheel back from the machine shop...they ended up just shaving off all the bad thread at the end, still leaving plenty left to screw on the center cap, so that's real cool. still in need of another cap and dish though. as far as the injen/RB combo, i LOVE it! great sounds from both ends of the car, as well as a noticeable smoothed-out lower RPM range and throttle response. no kind of huge power gain or anything, but well worth the cash (and i have a feeling that header i want may make a nice difference when added to the combo...)
