New to the forum and need a little help with firing order

Awesome forum and I'm so glad I found it. I bought a 1985 Mazda 626 LX from a friend. It's in decent shape and I picked it up for a reasonable price. I'm going to do some maintenance so I bought a haynes manual. The funny thing is that I can't seem to find any diagram or mention of the firing order of the cylinders. Can anyone help me out and tell me the firing order? Thanks.

Anyhow I now realize the firing order is 1-3-4-2. I just now changed the plug wires to see if there was any improvement and now the car won't start. That's weird. Anyone have any ideas? I might change the cap and rotor.
