02 Blown Mustang + 07 Speed3
Hey guys, just wanted to drop a line here and say hi to the community. I currently drive an 00 Focus ZX3 on a daily basis and it's getting a bit long in the teeth.

I also own a 2002 Mustang GT (www.ctgrey02.com) that I bought new and completely overhauled. Pictures are mostly old on the site, and I think the dyno sheets are too. It puts out about 400 at the wheels now.

Bridging the gap between the two is my goal now. I want some go in a daily driver so I'm seriously considering the MSP3. I love the standard Mazda3's as they are. The extra power from the turbo would likely satisfy me. I've been reading the forum for the last few days waiting for the account to activate (thx admins!!!!) Lots of great info here.

nice stang... good luck with the ms3 i am sure it will be what you are looking for.

Hey man, I don't technically belong on this forum anymore seeing as how I cancelled my MS3 order in favour of a 2006 Mustang GT. How is the Steeda Supercharger kit? I've been starting to look into that stuff. I'm going to wait til there's a bit less warranty left on my car but I might as well start looking now.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Dutch, in all honesty, just get a vette if your going to seriously modify the GT. You can easily toss a blower on the thing and be done with it too but it never ends once you start, and by the time your done there will be another car out thats faster again. With 400 HP I only run 12's, which can easily be done with a WRX, DSM, Cobra, Vette and NA Mach1 or properly setup Mustang GT. That said, the kits been dependable since 2002, the cars a blast to drive, it suprises a helluva lot of people and I do get a lot of compliments on it. There just comes a point where ya have to realize that it's going to cost another 10,000 to reach your goals and that'd be spent better elsewhere. I've probably dumped about 40-45K into it with the purchase price. I could have had 02 z06 and had comparable performance and not worried about it. Lastly, if ya do anything to it, get a beater. I had a 95 Probe as a daily driver for the longest time then bought the focus in 04. I'd have been screwed by the down time if I didnt have that, not to mention driving the GT in the snow, which I have not done since buying it. I'm hoping the Mazdaspeed 3 (I love the focus's handling so this should be a treat) will behave well with some blizzaks in the cold connecticut winters.
